Founder
With over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, Adam Riches is passionate about helping individuals and families make informed decisions when it comes to home financing. Specialising in residential mortgages, Adam offers expert advice tailored to your unique financial situation, whether you're a first-time homebuyer, looking to refinance, or exploring a home moving opportunity.
With personal experience of a below par service when purchasing his first property, efficient communication and a commitment to providing clear, honest, and straightforward guidance is at the heart of Riches Financial Service’s values. Adam works closely with a broad network of lenders to find the best mortgage products with competitive rates, ensuring that your homeownership journey is as smooth and stress-free as possible.
Outside of work, Adam has a finance Laura and young son Seve. Adam has many sporting interests, notably following Norwich City and England football teams, playing golf, and following horse racing. Adam believes in fostering strong, long-lasting relationships with clients built on trust and a genuine desire to help.
Abbie Whelan
Mortgage Adviser
Since joining Riches Financial Services, Abbie has become a key part of the team, supporting clients through the mortgage process from initial enquiry right through to completion. Now a fully qualified Mortgage Adviser, Abbie combines strong organisation with clear communication, working closely with clients, lenders and solicitors to keep every step running smoothly.
With two years’ hands-on experience managing cases and submitting applications alongside Adam, Abbie is now advising clients directly and helping them secure the right mortgage with straightforward, jargon-free guidance. A positive, stress-free experience is always the aim, particularly for first-time buyers who appreciate a calm and proactive adviser in their corner.
Outside of the office, Abbie enjoys running, reading, pub quizzes and is a big sports fan, especially when it comes to tennis. Building friendly, long-term relationships with clients and professional contacts is something Abbie values highly.
